How to Get to Batanes
The fastest way to reach Batanes is by air. However, the options are limited:
Philippine Airlines (PAL) Daily
Skyjet Air Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Wakay Air (AirSwift ) Daily
Year-Round Fares. Basco flights are expensive. They can cost as much as P15, 000 or higher. So watch out for Seat Sale and travel expo.
How much did it cost me to fly to Batanes? 899php ! Yup! I am so lucky! I got mine from Travel expo last year September of 2015. It’s a year before my flight, and it’s worth to wait.

There is a lot of hotels, homestay and inn’s available in the island. I recommend :

But don’t missed their Tatus ( coconut Crab ) . You can ask Kuya Jun or Kuya Lito to get one for you, buy it then cook it – You can cook in Vatan Inn ( or to any homestay you are in ) for 50php.
- Globe Mobile Network Signal is Weak/no signal at all in some areas
- Smart/Sun Network is available
- Banks and Money Transfer are available around the town proper
- Bring Umbrella and sunscreen protection
