How to Get to Batanes

The fastest way to reach Batanes is by air. However, the options are limited:

Philippine Airlines (PAL) Daily

Skyjet Air Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Wakay Air (AirSwift ) Daily

Year-Round Fares. Basco flights are expensive. They can cost as much as P15, 000 or higher. So watch out for Seat Sale and travel expo.

How much did it cost me to fly to Batanes? 899php ! Yup! I am so lucky! I got mine from Travel expo last year September of 2015. It’s a year before my flight, and it’s worth to wait.

Where to stay :

There is a lot of hotels, homestay and inn’s available in the island. I recommend :

Vatan Inn

Located at: Abad St. cor. Amboy St., Basco, Batanes

For reservation and rates : Contact Mr.Jover Vargas at 0998-551-9656/ 0995-810-5205

They have clean and affordable rooms with free breakfast – and their staffs are nice and very accommodating. Thanks Mr. Jover Vargas for your warm welcome, all the best for your family. It was nice meeting you.

Tours:

I recommend Mr. Lito Alcantara for your South and North Batan Tour : Contact number : 09182167440 | Kuya Jun for Sabtang Tour – 09098770155 ( madami po silang Jun sa Sabtang – so better text or call him, and he is the only guide who can bring guest sa light house in Sabtang )
