Descending

CYMERA_20160215_102544 (1).jpg

Going up is optional, but going down is mandatory :D. Descending to Sta.Fe is the hardest part about this adventure. ” Basagan ng tuhod kung baga” . But, you don’t have any choice. We took it for only 2hrs. After passing couple of mini hanging bridges, you’ll eventually reach the highway. In Sta.Fe you will find houses who offers “Shower Room” to wash up after the hike.

How to get here:

Ride a  Bus from Cubao or Pasay to Baguio [P460-750; 4-6 hours],then a Jeepney from Baguio City to Brgy. Ampucao via Philes-Bound route [P50; 40 mins]
Note: It is also possible to rent a taxi from Baguio City to take you all the way to Brgy. Ampucao and back. Fare: 1000php-1500php

From Sta.Fe there are Baguio – Philex Bound jeepneys along the exit. And the guides of the Ampucao Eco Trail will surely help and contact jeepneys for you in Sta. Fe.
Fare: 50 pesos per head

What to bring:

-Bring at least 2L of drinking water

-Trail food ( expect  a long walk)

-Most of the trail is open, bring something that can protect your skin from the sun.

-Don’t forget to bring garbage bag. Practice LNT
