Badian Cebu

CYMERA_20150926_052121Badian Cebu

Badian is located in the southern part of Cebu, where you can find the famous Kawasan Falls, Osmena Peak, and cool diving sites. The town is also blessed with white beaches, with both expensive, private and affordable resorts.Based on my research, this southern town got its name from a plant called, “badyang”, which was once abundant in the area. However, the Spaniards find it difficult to pronounce the name so eventually the “g” was dropped and the “y” was changed to “i” and the town came to be known as Badian, a generally mountainous and hilly area where locals and tourists go around in jeepneys and tricycles.

How to get there –

From Mactan International Airport – You can hire a taxi going to Bus Station. It will cost you 250-300php, so if you are 4 in the group its more convenient. But let me share how I did it to Bus Terminal from the Airpot. Just ask the Guards where you can find the Yellow Cab to going Guisano Mall.
