What is Tripkada

Tripkada is a mobile app where travellers can join trips organised by fellow travellers. think uberpooling for trips = trip-pooling. Instead of paying for an entire package, users can simple book a slot on a trip and join other travellers, split the bill, meet new friends, and tick things off their bucket list for less.

Trips are organised and led by Tripkada’s curated community of travellers. And because the entire cost of the trip is split among everyone in the group, daytrips can go for 750-2500, while weekend trips can cost anywhere from 1500-3500 (depending on the destinations and inclusions).

Tripkada was launched to the public on Google Play on August 10, 2016 by adventure travel company, Fliptrip.ph, which specialises in connecting travellers to local communities in off-the-beaten-path destinations in the philippines.

How it works

Tripkada is made possible by it’s community of travelers who organize trips independently. Trip organizers do not work for tripkada, unless specified. They are curated and given special access to your organizer app, trainings and events that we hope will help them to provide great experiences for their joiners.

Let my pictures take you there. And convince you to travel once in your life, the world has a lot offer. Go explore and meet new people. Experience their culture and share your own….

THANKS GIVING| OUTREACH PROGRAM 2016 | ALIBIJABAN ISLAND

THANKS GIVING| OUTREACH PROGRAM 2016 | ALIBIJABAN ISLAND

December 17, 2016 , a rainy Saturday afternoon. We went to Alibijaban Island to have a Christmas Party for the kids of Alibijaban Elementary School. This is my way of giving back all the blessings I had from our Heavenly Father. I thank Him for a wonderful year of 2016, and for this successful Gift Giving Event.

I also want to thank all my volunteers, participants, and sponsors for this event.

This event is made possible by:

  • Team COB
  • Team Cobra
  • Team Subro
  • Team Bicolano Transport
  • And with the help of my Friends, Families and colleague.
  • And All my Participants

Thank you so much! With all your help , the 400 kids of Alibijaban received a colorful sling bags with Slippers, Towel, Soap, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Gift and over the counter meds.

Alibijaban is a small island located at the Southeastern coast of Bondoc Peninsula, under the administrative municipality of San Andres, Quezon. I have been to this island many times, and I noticed that kids lack decent slippers to use in their daily activities.  I had a chance to talk to one of the Alibijaban kids during my last visit and asked; “Kung dadating si Santa Clause dito sa isla ninyo, anong gusto mong  matangap ngayong pasko?”, she replied: “tsenelas po, wala po kase kaming magamit pag pumapasok sa school, at laruan, gusto ko po makaranas ng totoong laruan katulad nung sa kanya “ – Pointing to one of the tourists that day. That’s why I decided to have an outreach activity for them.

Here are some of our pictures during the program.

Mt.Kupapey is 1647 MASL, with trail difficulty: 3/9. The summit will offer an overlooking view of Maligcong Rice Terraces and a sea of clouds. Mt.Kupapey entire experience is lite and easy, this is one of the easiest mountain I’ve climb. And a chance to walk alone in the middle of unfamiliar trail is priceless. It’s a chance for me to think about the serious matter about life. The cold wind and the sounds of nature is so relaxing, and the view of Maligcong Rice Terraces is amazing, a perfect landscape.
